It's July, the summer is here, and there is some very good news on the Jan & Dean front! First off there's a brand new Jan & Dean compilation which features every single A and B side in thier original mono single-mix recordings! This is the first time they have been available like this since 1968, so make sure you get your copy ordered now! Watch out for the review soon, it's an amazing release that sounds awesome!

This is a superb little article on Jan's classic unreleased "Carnival Of Sound" project. The article also allows you to download the entire album, as taken off an original accetate of the album!

A huge thank you to Ken Mackowiak and for the two photos on the left which were taken May 2008, and to the other emailer who sent that wierd and wonderful 70's photo of Dean having a kiss, and those two fantastic porcolein characters! Without you lot, this site would have closed down many years ago.
And, a HUGE thank you to Bruce Lennox for his photo on the left with Jan. Expect some more photos from this period and some Jan & Dean audio from interviews performed by Bruce!!! 2008 is an exciting time for us all!!!

The Complete Liberty Singles - Liner Notes - Damn Cool!
For a limited time only until we get the review of this album up, we will be displaying these Liner Notes from "The Complete Liberty Singles". As you can see, we are listed second on the notes as an invaluable site in the making of that fine album.
Ok, to some of you it may not seem like much, however it after many years of hard work it is recognition of the hard work that has been put into this site. Any form of advertising for all the Jan & Dean sites is welcome by us, and by the other two sites mentioned no doubt.
It's great to see that 2008 should hopefully be a good year for Jan & Dean music, at last there's a compilation out there that really does the duo some great justice for once!
